Peter Nünlist worked for many years in the banking sector as a financial analyst and portfolio manager. His enthusiasm for providing independent advice to his clients led him to set up his own investment team. In 2007 he founded Peter Nünlist AG Investment Management und Services in Zurich. At that time Peter Nünlist won a contest of the CASH magazine for the best investment strategy over multiple years. The successful management of the mandates as well as the continuous development of the firm led to a steady expansion of the client base and the network.
This allowed access to various topics. Long-term partnerships were formed that have expanded the company’s range of services for the benefit of its clients. Further mainstays developed in the the areas of pension planning and a sports desk, which fully supports athletes in financial matters. In 2022 the asset management business was expanded with the integration of Unigamma AG. Since the company was founded in 2007, we have been a member of the Swiss Association of Asset Managers (SAAM), an association of independent asset managers committed to professional asset management. Since April 2022, we have also been among the first asset management companies that hold a licence from the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA), which meets the legal requirements of FinSA/FinIA.
FinSA/FinIA sets a high quality standard for Swiss asset management, especially with regard to a professional organisation, structured processes and a systematic risk management. Thus, we ensure a high service level according to strict rules of quality, qualifications and ethics.
